Pakuan University Rector Leads Youth Pledge Ceremony, Presents BIA 2025 Awards to Outstanding Lecturers and Students

UNPAK — In a spirit of patriotism and unity, Pakuan University (Unpak) held a solemn ceremony to commemorate the 97th Youth Pledge Day, coupled with the Bogor Inspiring Awards (BIA) 2025 presentation, on Tuesday (October 28, 2025) at the university’s ceremonial field in Bogor.
The ceremony was attended by the university’s leadership, lecturers, academic staff, and hundreds of students from various faculties. Prof. Dr. rer. pol. Ir. H. Didik Notosudjono, M.Sc., Rector of Pakuan University, led the ceremony and delivered a keynote address underscoring the importance of internalizing the spirit of the Youth Pledge within higher education.
In his remarks, Prof. Didik emphasized that the spirit of Indonesian youth must be translated into concrete actions through creativity, research, and innovation that positively impact society. He reminded the audience that Unpak’s young generation bears a great responsibility to carry forward the nation’s ideals amid the digital transformation and globalization of education.
“The Youth Pledge is not merely a historical commemoration—it is a source of inspiration to continue creating and innovating. Pakuan University students and lecturers must become pioneers of change, think creatively, and act with integrity,” he stated.
Following the ceremony, the event continued with the presentation of the Bogor Inspiring Awards (BIA) 2025, an initiative to recognize lecturers and students who have brought pride to Pakuan University through achievements in academics, research, community service, and innovation. The awards were presented directly by Rector Prof. Didik Notosudjono, accompanied by Vice Rector for Student Affairs Dr. Ir. Singgih Irianto T.S., M.Si., and the deans of each faculty.
Four lecturers received awards for their outstanding contributions to academia and innovation: Dr. Tjut Awaliyah Zuraiyah, S.Kom., M.Kom.; Dr. Abel Gandhy, S.Pi., MM.; Evyta Wismiana, S.T., M.T.; and Aris Suryadi, S.T., M.T.
Meanwhile, seventeen students were honored for their dedication and achievements: Rafdi Haqqi, Sutan Faiz, Paradilla Pasya, Diva Rizky Ramadhan, Aimar Putra Andika, Ramadan Aditiya, Radithiya Arif Ramadhan, Renza Rifki Faturahman, Adi Surya Panji Gumilang, Indi Naswa, Rifli Ramadhan Sabililah, Novena Putrianti, Renaldi, Ahmad Andreansyah, Faizal Muhardiman, Bira Setya, and Kriti Mauludin.
On this occasion, Dr. Singgih Irianto explained that the awards represent part of the university’s strategy to cultivate an academic culture characterized by excellence and innovation. He noted that BIA 2025 symbolizes Unpak’s strong commitment to developing human resources who not only excel academically but also demonstrate social awareness and a spirit of nationalism.
“This award is more than a symbol—it is a motivation for our academic community to continue creating. We envision Pakuan University as a home for the nation’s brightest talents,” he said.
The event concluded in an atmosphere of pride and camaraderie. After the presentation ceremony, the BIA 2025 awardees posed for photos with the Rector and university leaders beneath the proudly waving Red and White flag—a moment that reflected the spirit of unity, dedication, and love for the nation that thrives within Pakuan University.
This year’s Youth Pledge ceremony reaffirmed Pakuan University’s commitment to being a superior, independent, and character-driven institution—one that continuously nurtures young generations of integrity, excellence, and readiness to contribute to national progress.
