UNPAK –The Head of the Central Library of Universitas Pakuan, Wildan Fauzi Mubarock, M.Pd, was invited to attend the Grand Launching of BYC Library and a book discussion held by Universitas Djuanda on March 17, 2025. The event was organized to celebrate the 38th Anniversary of Universitas Djuanda, marking an important moment to strengthen the commitment to the development of education and literacy in Indonesia.
The Grand Launching of BYC Library was the highlight of the event, where this library was designed to become a modern and accessible information resource center for the entire academic community. With its advanced facilities and diverse collection, BYC Library is expected to support the development of knowledge and increase reading interest among students and the public.
In addition to the launching event, Universitas Djuanda also held a book discussion session that focused on relevant themes about the development of literacy and writing in Indonesia. During the event, Wildan Fauzi Mubarock expressed his appreciation for Universitas Djuanda’s efforts in introducing new innovations in the library world.
“I highly appreciate the launch of BYC Library. A library is not just a place to find books, but also a platform to build a better literacy culture. I hope that with this facility, we can further encourage the increase of reading interest and literacy among students and the wider community,” said Wildan Fauzi Mubarock.
The event also provided an opportunity for participants to discuss the importance of libraries in education, especially in the digital era. The book discussion enriched participants’ understanding of how literacy can contribute to the intellectual development of students and the wider community.
As part of the 38th Anniversary celebrations, the event also reflected Universitas Djuanda’s dedication to introducing innovations and advancing the quality of education in Indonesia. Wildan Fauzi Mubarock also hopes that the event will strengthen relationships among universities and expand collaborations in the fields of literacy and education. “I hope that cooperation and synergy between universities will become stronger, so that we can together contribute to the advancement of education in our country,” he added.
