The Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Program at FMIPA Universitas Pakuan Achieves Excellent Accreditation. A Proof of Commitment to Education, Research, and Community Service.
UNPAK – The Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Program at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Pakuan (Unpak), has recently achieved the “Excellent” Accreditation based on SK Number: 045/LAMSAMA/Akred/S/III/2025 from the Independent Accreditation Agency for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA).
This achievement marks an improvement in the quality of education, research, and community service that is continuously carried out by the academic team at Universitas Pakuan.
The Dean of FMIPA, Asep Denih, S.Kom., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed pride in this accomplishment. “Congratulations to the Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Program at FMIPA for achieving the Excellent Accreditation. This achievement is the result of hard work and synergy from the entire team, including faculty members, educational staff, students, alumni, and support from the university leadership,” he stated.
The Dean also hopes that this achievement will motivate the program to continue innovating. “We hope that this achievement will strengthen FMIPA Universitas Pakuan’s position as an excellent educational institution in the fields of science and technology,” he added.
The Head of the Bachelor’s Degree in Biology Program, Dra. Triastinurmiatiningsih, M.Si., also expressed appreciation to everyone involved in the accreditation process. “This success is a result of the hard work of the Accreditation Task Force, faculty members, educational staff, students, and alumni. The Excellent Accreditation is not only an achievement but also motivation to continue maintaining and improving the quality of education in the Biology Program,” she explained.
Triastinurmiatiningsih also emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration in creating a quality academic ecosystem. “We are committed to continuing to provide quality education, conducting research that contributes to science, and strengthening strategic cooperation with national and international partners,” she continued.
With the achievement of the Excellent Accreditation, FMIPA Universitas Pakuan is even more motivated to continue improving academic quality and is committed to strengthening collaboration with industries and research institutions in order to produce excellent graduates who are ready to contribute to society and the professional world.
