Head of the Central Library of Universitas Pakuan Attends the Sharing Session Between FPPTI West Java and FPPTI East Java

Sharing Session FPPTI West Java & FPPTI East Java: Strengthening Networks to Achieve Excellent and Quality Higher Education Library Organization Management
East Java, February 12-15, 2025 – Wildan Fauzi Mubarock, M.Pd., Head of the Central Library at Universitas Pakuan, participated in a work visit organized by the Indonesian Higher Education Library Forum (FPPTI) West Java Region to FPPTI East Java. The event, held over four days from February 12 to 15, 2025, aimed to strengthen networks and share insights on the management of university libraries.
The visit was attended by 34 participants, including administrators and members of FPPTI West Java. During the event, participants had the opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences regarding good higher education library management, as well as visit two prominent university libraries in East Java: Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang and Universitas Brawijaya.

As part of the delegation from FPPTI West Java, Mr. Wildan Fauzi Mubarock, M.Pd., stated that the work visit was highly beneficial in broadening perspectives on enhancing the quality and management of libraries. “This activity has provided many learnings on best practices that can be applied to the Universitas Pakuan library, especially in terms of resource management and the utilization of information technology in library services,” he said.
The work visit was also marked by enthusiastic discussions among the administrators and participants about various innovations and strategies implemented in other university libraries. The session concluded with an observation of the facilities and infrastructure at the two libraries, which is expected to serve as a reference and inspiration for the development of libraries at each institution.
Through this activity, it is hoped that the Universitas Pakuan library, as well as university libraries in West Java in general, can meet national and international standards in providing high-quality information services for the academic community.
This event demonstrates FPPTI’s commitment to strengthening networks and promoting collaboration among university libraries in Indonesia, with the aim of improving library services and facilities across the country.
