UNPAK – The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Pakuan (Unpak) provided assistance in the form of a conventional lightning rod device for the service office at Cibanon Village, Sukaraja District, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.

Aris Suryadi, an Electrical Engineering lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering at Unpak and also the Head of the Community Service Program (PKM), explained that this assistance is part of a community service program carried out by the university.

“This conventional lightning rod device is a grant from Universitas Pakuan through the Research and Community Service Institute for the 2024-2025 fiscal year,” Aris explained.

He added that this aid is the result of research by lecturers, which is then utilized by the community, and a collaboration between the university and the community to realize the program. “We hope that this lightning rod device can provide significant benefits for the Cibanon Village community,” Aris said.

Cibanon Village Head, Ujang Supriadi, also expressed his gratitude to Universitas Pakuan for the assistance provided.

“We are very grateful for the lightning rod device. We hope that this assistance will benefit the village, and that in the future, Cibanon Village will continue to grow and improve,” said Ujang.

With this assistance, it is hoped that services in Cibanon Village will become safer, especially during the rainy season, while strengthening the collaboration between Universitas Pakuan and the local community.
